TENDER & PROPOSAL MANAGER
OBR is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Tender & Proposal Manager to join our team in Milan for a full-time collaboration.
The role is focused on the management and coordination of national and international tenders, design competitions, and proposal submissions, supporting the strategic growth of the firm in alignment with OBR’s vision and values.
The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive attitude, the ability to manage complex deadlines, and a genuine interest in architecture and the built environment.
Abilities required:
- excellent knowledge of English and Italian, written and spoken;
- proven experience in tender management, proposal coordination, or bid preparation;
- strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines;
- precise and detail-oriented approach to written and visual materials;
- proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and coordination skills;
- ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams;
- excellent communication and follow-through skills;
- high level of confidentiality and reliability;
- advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop);
- experience in the architecture, engineering, or design sector is preferred;
- architecture degree or knowledge of architecture is considered a plus.
Responsibilities:
- monitor and identify new business opportunities, including tenders, RFPs, and design competitions;
- manage registration processes and documentation for national and international tenders and competitions;
- coordinate the preparation, organization, and submission of bids, tenders, and qualification materials;
- liaise with clients, consultants, and partners regarding tender-related requests and clarifications;
- support the preparation of tailored presentations and business development materials;
- coordinate internal information and project data required for submissions;
- maintain and update company profiles, CVs, project references, awards, publications, and related documentation in coordination with the OBR Archivist Manager;
- contribute to the organization and updating of OBR’s internal archives and proposal materials;
- support participation in conferences, conventions, and events related to OBR’s business activities.
