GENERALI CORSO EUROPA GENOA

Generali Corso Europa project envisions the entire renovation of an existing building to house the Generali offices.

Commissioned by Mauro Faccenda, the project provides a new way of working in terms of flexibility and innovation, adapting to different working configurations with more informal and outdoor panoramic spaces.

By re-using the existing structures, OBR has rethought the existing building according to a new relationship with the surrounding urban context.

The project is characterized by a “dynamic” facade composed of a series of vertical blades serving as brise soleil and acoustic protection.

The new façade is kinetically designed following to the moving visual perception from the street Corso Europa on the North side, while opening the view to the urban park on the South side.
