“Interiors. Le stanze del quotidiano” will be inaugurated in the presence of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Matarella today at MAXXI in Rome. The exhibition traces the paths that have guided the design of interiors from the 20th century works of Aldo Rossi, Maurizio Sacripanti, Carlo Scarpa, through to the most recent research of OBR. Renderings, auteur photographs, films and video interviews along with models, prototypes and objects recount the domestic environment interpreted by ten Italian architects, presenting the complexity of contemporary society. Open to the public from 6th May to 29th October 2017.
Monday 3rd October 2016. OBR and Michel Desvigne Paysagiste have been proclaimed winner of the design competition for the Parco Centrale di Prato. The combination of the park by Michel Desvigne and the pavilion by OBR aims to promote “Prato Città Contemporanea” as a new urban polarity for creative ideas, performative arts, a common ground for a multiethnic community.

Milano. OBR wins the Award by Inarch for the Premio Internazionale di Architettura e Design 2015 with the project for the Terrazza Triennale Milano, which is the result of the design competition held by La Triennale di Milano. The ceremony was on 24th October with Adolfo Guzzini (President IN/ARCH), Paolo Cuccia (President Gambero Rosso), Massimiliano Tonelli (Director Artribune), Ferdinando Napoli (President Archilovers), Patrizia Di Costanzo (ADI) and Paolo Desideri (Facoltà di Architettura di Roma Tre).
LabQ. Laboratorio per la Qualità Urbana” Exhibition at Bastione Sangallo in Pisa. The event investigates the topic of the urban regeneration. The OBR’s projects featured in the exhibition explore the idea that architectural research is no longer a solitary practice, but rather the outcome of a cooperative evolutionary process, which reveals the awareness of individual identities and cultural specificities.
Terrazza Triennale Restaurant designed by OBR opens at La Triennale di Milano on the rooftop of Palazzo dell’Arte.
Conceived as a glass pavilion suspended above Parco Sempione and the skyline of Milano and Castello Sforzesco, the restaurant with a dining experience by the chef Stefano Cerveni, in combination with the ongoing Arts & Foods exhibition curated by Germano Celant, is a significant initiative of La Triennale di Milano as a curtain raiser to Expo2015.
"AFRICA. Big Change Big Chance" Exhibition at Triennale di Milano. The exhibition is devoted to Africa, a continent in which some of the most interesting phenomena of recent years are taking shape, ranging from great demographic to climate and social changes. A series of thematic sections examine the architecture and the great territorial changes affecting the African continent, including HOPE City by OBR.
Milano, Tuesday 30th September. OBR has been proclaimed by Triennale di Milano winner of the design competition for the restaurant on the roof top of the Palazzo dell'Arte. The concept of OBR provides a linear glass pavilion overviewing the skyline, Castello Sforzesco and Parco Sempione. Embraced by an aromatic garden and protected by a floating tent, the pavilion acts as a bio-climatic greenhouses with different self-thermal regulation scenarios during night/day and summer/winter. From outside the tent is the only visible architectural and ephemeral feature, which becomes the dynamic media for the urban events held by Triennale and Expo 2015.
31.07.14Milan, Thursday 31st July. OBR Team with Antonio Perazzi, Maddalena D'Alfonso, Rossella Ferorelli, Rossella Menegazzo, Ingrid Paoletti, Giacomo Ardesio hold an open dialogue at the Expo Gate in Milan to share a vision for the future of Piazza Castello.
Piazza Castello has always been a point of reference for Milan and its residents. It is therefore essential to build a collective consciousness that defines a common ground on which to act.
