Wejchert Golf Club

The program aims to create a new venue for the international eighteen holes golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, respecting the natural site topography and the historical village of Brześce. In continuity with the existing landscape, a system of pitched roofs translates the geometry of the traditional Polish roofs and creates a dynamic tension towards the golf course. The roof’s geometry is created by a system of inclined triangular shape panels with green roof top or skylights illuminating the inner gardens. The skylights mitigate the inner space characterized by the dynamic relationship with the natural light. The south facade is conceived as intermediate and comfortable area between interior and exterior that mitigates as a winter garden the inner temperature and creates a privileged visual relationship with the golf course. The clubhouse is a flexible and welcoming venue, capable of hosting important international events with high public access. Double height areas (lobby, conference room), panoramic areas (restaurant, lounge, spa, Café Manipura) and commercial areas (golf shop, gourmandises) are distributed through internal promenades in continuity with the landscape.
